Aromatherapy has been shown to have powerful qualities that can be very beneficial in pregnancy but also need to be used appropriately, at the right time, and in a way, so that it delivers the benefits to you safely.
I will undertake a full history, and the oils used will be hand picked to meet your needs and help relax you, alleviate some of the common ailments in pregnancy, and prepare you for the birth and arrival of your baby.

This treatment session will be all about using the finest cold-pressed organic oils to aid relaxation, encourage the healing process and aid lactation

I am offering telephone and online consultations for those wanting to use aromatherapy at home and in labour. You can choose whether you would prefer a face to face online consultation or a telephone consultation.
During the consultation I will take a full history to make sure that you do not have any contraindications that would prevent you from using essential oils. We will have a chat about what benefits you would like to achieve from the essential oils and based on this I will hand pick and blend an aromatherapy oil which is tailored to suit your needs and is safe for you to use. I will provide you with a detailed written explanation of what oils have been used and when you can be used safely and when not. The oils provided will be the finest, first cold pressed oils of organic origin and will be posted to you.
Please note if you are going to be using pre-blended essential oils in labour, always let your midwife/doctor know what you are going to be using and make sure that the trust allows the use of essential oils in labour.

Baby Massage Classes -6 sessions from birth
During the sessions you will learn step by step how to give your baby a full body massage. You will be given a bottle of first cold pressed and organic sunflower oil for you to use during your session and to practice at home. All classes will take place in a friendly environment giving you the chance to socialise with your peers. These sessions will not only help with many common ailments that your baby might have but it also helps with bonding and confidence building as a new mother.

Classes are run by health professionals, trained in the care of newborn babies and therefore a complimentary weigh service is offered, where we are happy to discuss any concerns you might have. Refreshments are offered at the end of each session. This is a great time to chat with other mums and share your experiences.

Baby Yoga - from 8 weeks - 6 Sessions
In the sessions you will learn a sequence of stretches, poses and moves that will enhance babies physiological and psychological development. As well as learning all of the moves, you will discover how to communicate with your baby through their body language. Refreshments provided.

Baby Yoga - Advanced, from 16 weeks - 4 sessions
As your baby develops we can bring in moves that can help to improve muscle development, core strength, balance and coordination, spatial awareness and your baby build confidence. These will all help your baby to develop into a healthy, happy and confident child and can assist them in reaching milestones more easily.
